The National Perinatal Association (NPA) is an interdisciplinaryorganization of professionals, parents, students, and advocates. We are building a community where all voices are heard with equity and respect as we work to improve perinatal care - TOGETHER.
As the ONLY professional association for NICU Parent Leaders in the US, the NPN provides a platform for NICU Parent Leaders to come together as a collective voice representing the needs and best interests of NICU families in all facets of healthcare policy, care guidelines, advocacy, education, and family support. Our members are NICU Parent Leaders working in highly influential positions in local, regional, national, and international capacities. Their work focuses on improving access to and the quality of education, resources, and support for families along the continuum of care from high-risk pregnancy to life after the NICU. They all have one crucial characteristic in common; they have all been personally impacted by a NICU stay or infant loss.
Project NICU is dedicated to providing financial and emotional support and resources to families with children in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and the medical professionals who care for them.
GLO Preemies™ seeks to raise the voice of black families in the NICU and post-NICU in terms of creating racial and health equity through policy advocacy, professional educational initiatives, family educational initiatives, and family support for African American families for continuous 18 years.

Dashel was born October 2023 with undiagnosed Congenital Heart Disease and Christina spent her first month postpartum in the hospital with him. Their experience together sparked a passion for supporting postpartum mothers and in sending ‘A Dash of Love’ to those in emergency hospital situations. But that’s not all!
